Lync SDK's .ChangedContactInformation contains information that has not changed

I am playing with Microsoft.Lync.Model.dll to react to my status changes in Skype for Business. I have Registered to an event "ContactInformationChanged" and everything works fine but...
Microsoft docs say that ChangedContactInformation property of the ContactInformationChangedEventArgs "returns the contact information that have changed."
It seems that the property returns all information even in case it has not changed. For example it returns Availability if I have only changed my location. Is this normal behavior? I would like my script to react only when the status has changed for example from Away to Online. (Of course I could check separately if the old and new activity is different but I am just curious why the .ChangedContactInformation contains the activity even it has not changed.)
