Mapping JsonPath from one schema to another
I have a json object of type A I receive from a downstream service that is mapped to another type B.
For example say A is
{
"a1" : "a",
"b1" : "b"
}
and the equivalent B is
{
"a2" : "a",
"b2" : "b"
}
Mapping is currently done using MapStruct. Along with json in A, I also get a JsonPath that describes a field in A, for example say $.a1
.
What I want to do is along with doing mapping A -> B, I want to also map a path in A to a path in B, so $.a1
to $.a2
Anyone can think of a generic way to do it? JsonPath will point to a single field within A, so no need to consider advanced JsonPath features. Open to using other json mapping libs that could support that use case.
