Store Entity Blob to Amazon S3

Using JetBrains Xodus, when storing an Entity Blob, what can be done to store the Blob not on the file system but to Amazon S3?
Thus,
Entity entity = getEntity();
entity.setBlob("foo", inputStream);
Will save into the configured S3 bucket

Currently all that S3-related staff is under development. It is neither used in production by JetBrains, nor released/documented.
