info.zip bitcoin trojan keeps reappearing on my Raspberry Pi
since a few months my Raspberry Pi tries to put the files info.zip and photo.scr in my windows network share folder. Malwarebytes shows that the files contain some kind of bitcoin mining trojan.
The raspberry has the media center Kodi installed on it (Operating System is a specific form of debian called OSMC). I also use it for data sharing via Samba and I have a webserver running, just for a small php skript which triggers a self coded alarm clock. While installing the alarm clock I didn't pay much attention to the access rights, I remember modifying some folders to full access by all users. I thought you couldn't reach the Pi from the Internet anyways without modifying firewall etc. so I didn't pay much detail on it.
I know it may be careless to give full access to some folders, but I only wanted the Pi to be reachable from local network.
Do you have an idea how to configure the system so it can only be reached by the local network while still being able to access the internet from the Pi? I don't want to miss apt-get, addon updates on kodi, etc.
I would be really happy if you could help me!
Thanks in advance
Michael
