Postgres.app installation what does data directory in use mean?
I've had to install and uninstall postgres.app several times now from my mac. Reason being that I couldn't access any of the functions.
I used the latest download option from their link here: https://postgresapp.com/. Step 1 was ok. For step 2, I got an error message, as attached in screenshotspostgres error postgres error]2
Not entirely sure how to proceed as I did a force uninstall of postgres using command line using this: brew uninstall --force postgresql
Could I please get some advise on what this means and how to proceed.
Thanks!
