VS.Net 2017 - cordova (ionic): Illegal characters in path

I created a blank Ionic 2 project and try to deploy it to the Google Emulator - Phone. however when i click on the run, i get the following error in the output window.
Running command: cmd "/s /c "D:SourceSampleSampleplatformsandroidgradlew.bat cdvBuildDebug -b D:SourceSampleSampleplatformsandroidbuild.gradle -Dorg.gradle.daemon=true -Pandroid.useDeprecatedNdk=true""
cvc-pattern-valid: Value '' is not facet-valid with respect to pattern '[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+' for type 'idType'.:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 145; columnNumber: 317; cvc-pattern-valid: Value '' is not facet-valid with respect to pattern '[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+' for type 'idType'.
at com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.util.ErrorHandlerWrapper.createSAXParseException(ErrorHandlerWrapper.java:203)

Any ideas on what is the idType property and where can I find it?
