What is the purpose of declaring a class as Java-Bean in MANIFEST.MF file?
When I open MANIFEST.MF file of rt.jar, I can find classes from swing package are declared as java beans. What is the difference between these classes and normal java classes?

It’s part of the JavaBeans specification. Considering how old that specification is, it probably was intended to facilitate faster loading of classes. In the 90s, reading a jar file was a noticeably slow operation.
