Asp:wizard save value of wizard on sidebar click

I have a project in which i have added asp:wizard and there are 7 steps in wizard.I have "Save & Next","Previous" and "Save and Exit" buttons on the every wizard page(except "previous" on first step). User can fill form information and click on "Save & Next" button to progress the step and application will save the information on the database.

Now we have side bar also where user can click on and go to any step they want without completing previous steps. The issue here is there is one step in the middle which is required step in order to finish step following that. We display proper information/error messages if user click on one of the step which required the previous steps's data. What i want to know is, is there any way i can save steps data when i click on sidebar? What i mean is if i am on step 3 and i fill the form, now instead on clicking on "save and next" i click in step 4 from the side bar, so value are not saved with "save & next" but user are directed to step 4 with out saving values from step 3.

 Protected Sub SideBarList_ItemCommand(source As Object,
e As RepeaterCommandEventArgs)
End Sub

I can only access click steps index by e.Item.ItemIndex but on the previous step index. If i know that i can save that steps information. Please let me know if there is any way to do this.
