Algebraic curve plotter

I tried to code a algebraic curve plotter. My plan was to accept an expression in x as a string (decreasing powers of x) from the user and store the powers and corresponding coefficients of x in 2 separate arrays, which I'd then evaluate and plot. But the entire thing goes for an infinite loop. Here's the code:
Note:
(1) You'll find many parts of the coding that I've temporarily made as comments(mainly elements of graphics). That's because I wanted to use "cout" which graphics doesn't allow.
(2) The numerous cout statements were for me to figure out which loop is causing the trouble, but I guess I am not getting anywhere by myself. (sigh)
(3) The loop containing "rofl" goes crazy. I printed 'num' within that loop and it is incremented for every iteration though the loop does not have any statement that alters the value of num.
(4) I am a high schooler and a beginner so please forgive my idiocy and inexperienced approach in both the coding and in the quest
