MySQL query with multiple AND and OR conditions in WHERE for text values
I'm trying to build a query for a large number of rows with text.
The conditions are:
The column text MUST contain either the terms 'A' OR 'B'.
It also must contain either the terms 'C', 'D', ... OR 'Z'
So some valid results should be
'A C'
'A B D'
'B D Z'
In other words, the results must contain anything from A to B AND anything from C to Z
SELECT *
FROM documents
WHERE text ...
Thanks.

You can use REGEXP for the character range match:
SELECT *
FROM documents
WHERE text REGEXP '[AB]' AND text REGEXP '[C-Z]'

Might want to include word-boundary markers going by OP's examples
