Angular ngRoute not working in a Spring Boot Application

0

I am working on a Spring Boot Application using Angular JS for UI. I am trying to use Angular routes for making it a Single page application

My static content is present in the following directory:

resources/static inside my src/main

I am using a Controller class for loading my first HTML page index.html.

@Controller
public class PageController {

@RequestMapping(value = "/", method = RequestMethod.GET)
String entry() {
return "redirect:/index.html";
}
}

MY HTML body :

<body>
<header class="app_header">
<a href="#/mainDashboard">Home</a>
<h1 class="app_header__title">My title</h1>
</header>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myController">
<div class="ng-view">
</div>
</div>
</body>

My Javascript controller :

myApp.config(function($routeProvider) {
$routeProvider
.when("/mainDashboard", {
templateUrl : "dashboard.html"
});
});

It does not work. Is there something else I should do on server part??
The UI is a part of Spring Boot application itself it is not being served through a separate web server.
