How to implement elasticsearch in an android app?

So I am developing this classified app backed by firebase abd using Firestore
as the realtime DB. All works quite well and its time for me to implement the search functionality of the app. Turns out firestore doesnt support full-text search, and they recommend services like algolia
and elasticsearch
as a solution. I chose to use elastic search because well its open source.
So I downloaded [https://www.elastic.co/downloads?elektra=products&storm=main] and installed elastic search on my server and its ready for work,
Now my question is how and when do I index my documents from firestore
to my elasticsearch
(running on my server)?
android firebase elasticsearch full-text-search google-cloud-firestore

If you want at some point to try Algolia, please see my answer from this post where I have explained how you can implement it. For more information, I also recommend you see this video.
