spss (version 25) - Is it possible to generate a p-value and chi-square statistic for each row of data in a...
I have two categorical variables with 3 levels/categories each e.g. Ice cream preference (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) and age group (05-10, 11-15, 16-20). I want to use a chi-square test to see if there is a significant difference between all possible outcomes. For example, to see what the test statistic and p-value is for each row.
At present, I can only seem to generate a three-way p-value and chi-square statistic for the whole set using the crosstabulations function.
My question is: is it possible to generate a p-value and chi-square for each row of data (i.e. every possible outcome) in a contingency table in SPSS? And if so, how?
