Setting text color in a syntax file
So I understand colors are handled in the .sublime-color-scheme files, but I have an oddball case where I need to set a fixed color no matter what scheme is loaded.
For example :
{color:red}
red text in red
{color}
{color:blue}
blue text in blue
{color}
In each of these cases I would like to format the tags and text in the selected color.
I have defined a custom scheme with some scopes for the specific colors I want, but I would rather use a proper color scheme and just reference those scopes.
Possibly barking up the wrong tree here, open to suggestions.
