PYRAF Graphics Error?

I am trying to run photometry using daophot in pyraf. Each time I try to run 'pstselect' interactively, I get the error,
IrafError: Error running IRAF task pstselect
IRAF task terminated abnormally
ERROR (851, "Cannot restore graphics world coordinate systems")

Any suggestions on how to work around this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
