Updating 3rd-party NuGet packages for ASP.NET MVC WebApp changes XML formatting for Web.config

When updating ASP.NET MVC5 WebApp in VS2017-Enterprise with new versions of 3rd-party NuGet packages(e.g. AWSSDK-related, NLog, ...) the update version number changes are properly reflected in WebApp.csproj and packages.config.

But in my case I've got also Web.config(formatted with "Align attributes each on a separate line") modified ONLY with changed format: XML elements attributes placed on a single line(as initial format of Web.config XML was). No other meaningful changes were introduced except changing the format of Web.config.

Any clues why such "revert" of Web.config's XML formatting happens on NuGet packages update process in VS2017 for WebApps?
