HTTP GET request working on web browser, but not on IntelliJ IDEA
I have this simple HTTP GET requestGET http://host:port. On IntelliJ, I created a HTTP Request file and it consists only of that request. If I run it, I get Response code: 404 (Not Found); however, if I run the same request on a web browser, the page actually loads.
In the case of not finding the URL, I also get Your requested host "host" could not be resolved by DNS.
What may cause this not to function on IntelliJ while it works on a web browser ?

Go to menu "File" --> "Settings"
Go to "Appearance & Behaviour" --> "System Settings" --> "HTTP Proxy"
enter appropriate proxy settings. Perhaps ask your admins or coworkers for the host name, port number, authentication ...
