How to distinguish facebook / google login from register?

0

I'am creating an Angular application with firebase login intgration.
When a user login in with social credential (google orfacebook) it works fine, but in my use case i want the social login to react the same way as email and password login so that if its a new user he can't login and have to register a nw account (with google or facebook) and only after that he will be able to login.

I'm y misindertanding the social login flow ? or is there a way to achieve this scenario ?

My code is as decribed in the firebase documentation and i'am using the lastest version of AngularFire2 :

 // auth.service
constructor(public afAuth : AngularFireAuth, private DB : AngularFirestore) { }

doGoogleLogin(){
return new Promise<any>((resolve, reject) => {
let provider = new firebase.auth.GoogleAuthProvider();
provider.addScope('profile');
provider.addScope('email');
this.afAuth.auth
.signInWithPopup(provider)
.then(res => {
resolve(res);
}, err => {
reject(err);
})

})

}
