Easy way to monitor apache service td-agent
Perhaps I am missing something, but is there an easy way to monitor whether a service is running or not (in this case, apache).
I already tried the modstatus plugin. This works for overall monitoring. However, when I stop the httpd service and start it again, td-agent no longer gives output.
I also tried the systemd plugin. However, its messages are not a straight-forward way to identify whether the service is currently up or not.
Is there any way I can retrieve whether the service is active or not? I want to avoid writing a script that gets the output from systemctl as that is a bit of a hacky approach.
apache centos fluentd td-agent
