How to use custom directive in GraphQLObjecType

In my app, I have one isAuthenticatedDirective and one userType
export const isAuthenticatedDirective = new GraphQLDirective({
name : "isAuthenticated",
locations: [DirectiveLocation.FIELD, DirectiveLocation.FIELD_DEFINITION]
});
const userType: GraphQLObjectType = new GraphQLObjectType({
name : EntityTypeEnum.User,
fields: (): GraphQLFieldConfigMap<any, any> => ({
id : { type: GraphQLID },
name: { type: GraphQLString }
})
});
For a legacy reason, I didn't create schema using Schema definition language (SDL). How can I use isAuthenticated directive with the GraphQLObjectType like this:
type User @isAuthenticated {
id: ID!,
name: String!
}
