java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No container provider supports the type
I am trying to write netty 4 connector with jersey 1. The project is here in github.
My Main application of the program is here. When I run the program I get the below error.
Nov 21, 2018 4:50:12 PM com.sun.jersey.api.core.ScanningResourceConfig init
INFO: No provider classes found.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No container provider supports the type class com.demo.netty.jersey.JerseyHandler
at com.sun.jersey.api.container.ContainerFactory.createContainer(ContainerFactory.java:196)
at com.sun.jersey.api.container.ContainerFactory.createContainer(ContainerFactory.java:134)
at com.demo.netty.jersey.NettyServerFactory.createNettyServer(NettyServerFactory.java:18)
at com.demo.netty.jersey.NettyJerseyDemoApp.main(NettyJerseyDemoApp.java:13)
I have verified I don't have mix of jersey 1 and 2 in my classpath.
My main guess is that web.xml in the resource directory here and contents of web.xml.
I'm not sure the root cause of this error. Can anybody review and let me know the how to resolve this error?
java servlets jersey web.xml jersey-1.0

The error sound like you are not passing a correct type to the ContainerFactory.createContainer() method.
