How to constrain slider to only vertical motion in simscape
I have never used Simscape before this so please bear with me. I am trying to make a model of a slider crank system with the slider in a vertical position:
this is a sketch from the code for a kinematic analysis.
I think I've completed most of the assembly, however i am encountering the " * Model not assembled: position violation Resolve this issue in order to simulate the model. * " error. I believe this is due to the rectangular joint I am using to connect my slider to the ground. How would i go about fixing the slider beneath the crank similar to what I have in the figure above? (current model looks so: model
Any help would be appreciated!
