RandomAccessFile.writeChars() puts invisible boxes between characters
I'm writing to files with RandomAccessFile.writeChar()
RandomAccessFile newWiz = new RandomAccessFile(path + name + ".txt", "rw");
newWiz.writeChars(pre);
newWiz.writeChars(wizard);
where pre and wizard are just strings
this has worked so far and it creates me txt files with text. however when reading the files with a scanner box symbols are added in between each character.
Comparison between file i wrote myself, and file that was writter with writeChars()
I had to use an image here because i couldn't copy paste with the boxes
