How to send the long data to Alexa

I created the new skill and had the different intent.In one intent I have to post the data to server.
When user call the insert data will ask to enter the data. For small words it is inserting but while giving the long sentence. It is not accepting.
How to resolve this issue.

There is nothing to look upon. Add some more information like sample input, slots, sample interaction model etc.
