sge - cfncluster qsub submit first job to specific node
Using the default SGE scheduler on a cluster created with aws cfncluster.
I need a specific node (master node, rank 0 in openmpi) to have more RAM than the other compute nodes.
I have tried submitting separate jobs, one to the larger node and the remaining to the smaller compute nodes,
qsub -l hostname=xxx -pe mpi 1 qmaster.sh && qsub -pe mpi 10 qjob.sh
but the master node only has a COMM_WORLD.size of 1.
Is there any way to submit the first job to a specified hostname. Or potentially run the first job on the host submitting the jobs?
