What is the best cross platform tool for building applications on ubuntu?
I am intending to build an application for the very first time.
I am proficient in using python and linux, but since I have never build an app I don't know how to find the right sources to get started with.
I see that there are some cross platform development tools such as Xamarin and Redhat but I am not sure if I can use them on Ubuntu 18.04 for free.
Would you please introduce some sources where I can get started on how to build an app.
I would like to build an app for Android and iOS.
Thanks

You cannot make native iOS apps on Linux. You could possibly do some sort of mobile web app. PhoneGap or Xojo might be options.
