Trying to connect with server

I am writing a simple code to connect with an API in android. But this is the error i am getting

    RequestQueue queue = Volley.newRequestQueue(this);
JsonArrayRequest arrayRequest = new JsonArrayRequest(Request.Method.GET, URL, new Response.Listener<JSONArray>()
{
@Override
public void onResponse(JSONArray response)

{
