This is what i'm trying to accomplish ,the city is a combobox
So i've got a datagridcombobox with 3 different customers, the customer class has a Name,Firstname,Address,Cellphone and a Zipcode. I've got a different class City which contains ZipCode and Name(of zipcode). So i looped through all of it to retrieve a list with strings of all the names of the zipcodes. But i'm unable to put it on a selecteditem on the combobox because its a datagrid and there are 3 different comboboxes. The itemsource is already set on the comboboxes but i've got no idea how i would need to input the selecteditem on those comboboxes.
This is what i've got now,without the selecteditem
Here is my xaml code:
<DataGrid AutoGenerateColumns="False" Name="CustomersDataGrid" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Top"
CanUserAddRows="False" Width="auto" Height="auto" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="1">
<DataGrid.Columns>
<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding Name}" Header="Name" />
<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding FirstName}" Header="Firstname" />
<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding Address}" Header="Address" />
<DataGridComboBoxColumn DisplayMemberPath="Name" Header="City" x:Name="CityComboBoxColumn"/>
<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding CellPhone}" x:Name="CellPhone" Header="Cellphone" />
</DataGrid.Columns>
</DataGrid>
Here is the code behind my initialize component:
_allCities = cityRepository.GetAll();
_allCustomers = customerRepository.GetAll();
_cities = new List<string>();
CustomersDataGrid.ItemsSource = _allCustomers;
for(int i = 0; i < _allCustomers.Count; i++)
{
for (int j = 0; j < _allCities.Count; j++)
{
if(_allCustomers[i].ZipCode == _allCities[j].ZipCode)
{
_cities.Add(_allCities[j].Name);
}
}
}
{
}
CityComboBoxColumn.ItemsSource = _allCities;
