javascript - BFCache is not working after change “history.state” in iOS chrome

0

When moving a page backward in iOS, I want all status to be restored by BFCache.

However, the problem occurs only in iOS Chrome.

iOS other browsers

  1. Execute history.replaceState

    (Due to the nature of the application, there are reasons to manipulate history.state)

  2. Move to another page.

  3. Go back to the previous page.

  4. All status have been restored.

    (The value of window.performance.navigation.type is TYPE_BACK_FORWARD(2))

    window.addEventListener("pageshow", e => {
    // e.persisted === true
    // window.performance.navigation.type === 2
    });

iOS chrome

  1. Execute history.replaceState

    (Due to the nature of the application, there are reasons to manipulate history.state)

  2. Move to another page.

  3. Go back to the previous page.

  4. I expected all status to be restored by BFCache, which didn’t happen.

    Nothing was restored.

    (The value of window.performance.navigation.type is TYPE_NAVIGATE(0))

    window.addEventListener("pageshow", e => {
    // e.persisted === false
    // window.performance.navigation.type === 0
    });

I would like to know if this is bug of IOS Chrome.
