javascript - BFCache is not working after change “history.state” in iOS chrome
When moving a page backward in iOS, I want all status to be restored by BFCache.
However, the problem occurs only in iOS Chrome.
iOS other browsers
- Execute history.replaceState
(Due to the nature of the application, there are reasons to manipulate history.state) - Move to another page.
- Go back to the previous page.
All status have been restored.
(The value of window.performance.navigation.type is TYPE_BACK_FORWARD(2))
window.addEventListener("pageshow", e => {
// e.persisted === true
// window.performance.navigation.type === 2
});
iOS chrome
- Execute history.replaceState
(Due to the nature of the application, there are reasons to manipulate history.state) - Move to another page.
- Go back to the previous page.
I expected all status to be restored by BFCache, which didn’t happen.
Nothing was restored.
(The value of window.performance.navigation.type is TYPE_NAVIGATE(0))
window.addEventListener("pageshow", e => {
// e.persisted === false
// window.performance.navigation.type === 0
});
I would like to know if this is bug of IOS Chrome.
