Laravel project on heroku not finding the links/views/templates/blade

0

I was given a php/laravel project to setup and I am new to php/laravel.
I got everything on my system going and uploaded the project to heroku.
I get my home page displayed properly but when I click on links it can find them, e.g: if I click on the login button, it looks for url/login and cant find it.
In my project structure I see that I have login.blade.php inside of resources/views/auth and so too I have other .blade.php files inside diferent folders in the views directory.
I read that .blade is some templating for laravel pages.
All I want is to get the links working.
I check in the routes folder and there are a few php files one is web.php. I dont see any of the files handling the /login or /signin routes
I see in the web.php file:

Route::get('/verification', 'AuthLoginController@showVerificationForm')->name('verification.form');

But even if I try to go to url/verification I get a 404 not found error.

What is going on in this project do I have to create all the routes? or are they already there?
How do I get this working?

Thanks
