Change the content of a post in Chrome

I have to investigate because a person has successfully sent a form with datas that violates the validations rules.
For exemple, in my form, I put a validation rule on postal code field, to limit characters to 4 digits.
This person managed to send a postal code with 5 digits.
I tried to reproduce by changing the value in the html, but when I submit there is a verification on each field and the back-end detect that the code postal don't respect the validation rule, then the page reload and nothing happens.
So my last solution to find how this person succeed to do it, is maybe by intercepting the post sent when he submit the form, and change the content of the post with its own values.
Could it be possible ?

the validation rules are on Javascript - you always need to check them again on code behind, after the post back.
