Scala error code is not judged as a error code in IntelliJ. Is it intelliJ bug?

0

Hi I'm newbie in intelliJ and scala.

I'm using intelliJ to learn scala programming.

I think below code is not valid, but IntelliJ don't judge it as error code.

class Foo {
var bar = _:Int
}

No error in my IDE

But when I run above code, then the error is occured
Error

I think it must be catched as a compile error. I executed this code in REPL, it is definetely syntactic error. I guess it is bug, is it?

  • Yes, it's a bug. IntelliJ's presentation compiler is still not completely correct. But it is pretty good already, keep using it :)
