Dependency-injecting files/resources into Spring beans
In my Grails 2.5.X app I have a class
import org.springframework.core.io.Resource
public class JazzyDictionary {
public JazzyDictionary(File wordlist) {
this.setWordList(wordlist);
}
public JazzyDictionary(Resource wordlist) {
this.setWordList(wordlist);
}
// remainder of class omitted
}
I create a Spring bean from this class like so in resources.groovy
englishDict(JazzyDictionary, new org.springframework.core.io.ClassPathResource("dict/en_GB"))
Is there a more declarative solution that doesn't hard-code the implementation type of the Resource
? I've tried the following, but it doesn't seem to work
englishDict(JazzyDictionary, "classpath:dict/en_GB")
spring grails dependency-injection
