GNS3 connection to EC2 Ubuntu 18.4 server does not work

I have created an EC2 instance running Ubuntu 18.4 and want to connect to it with GNS3.
I can ssh into it with PuTTY have installed GNS3 server and works, I can start the server I can open the HTTP page of the server however when I put the remote server details in, GNS3 it is not connecting and not sure why.
